We are actively seeking a skilled, motivated, and inquisitive Programming Problem Setter to become a part of our dedicated and forward-thinking team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to offer valuable insights and articulate data models to our clients, which is highly appealing.

Roles and Responsibilities : 

✔️The problem-setting team at HackerEarth is responsible for developing new questions for both public and private hackathons and challenges, as well as for our technical assessment product.

✔️They design problems that encompass data structures, algorithms, and mathematics, catering to a range of difficulty levels.

✔️Additionally, they create real-world programming questions and evaluate test problems formulated by other problem setters.

✔️The team also reviews HackerEarth's existing question bank to identify any technical errors and to ensure compliance with established guidelines.

✔️They incorporate code stubs into the code editor of the problems, enabling candidates to concentrate on the logical aspects of problem-solving rather than on syntax.

✔️Furthermore, they address queries, suggestions, and issues raised by candidates utilizing the HackerEarth platform.

✔️Collaboration with the technical documentation team is essential to eliminate any contextual or grammatical ambiguities present in the questions.

Essential Qualifications : 

✔️A strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and mathematics is required.

✔️A distinguished profile on various online judging platforms (such as HackerEarth, HackerRank, Codeforces, Codechef, SPOJ, etc.) is highly desirable.

✔️Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in developing or evaluating problems for online judges.
