What You’ll Do :
As a Solutions Engineer – Staff Engineer, you will contribute to the development of high-quality Process Design Kits (PDKs) for the Synopsys Custom Design platform. Your role will involve:
PDK Development & Validation: Creating, testing, and optimizing PDKs to ensure they meet industry standards and customer needs.
Customer Support: Assisting internal and external customers in using previously developed PDKs effectively.
Data Collection & Project Management: Collaborating with customers to gather specifications and ensure project deliverables are met.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working with teams handling Physical Verification, Parasitic Extraction, and Design Enablement to integrate PDKs seamlessly.
Mentorship & Coaching: Guiding junior engineers in developing design-ready PDKs for Custom Compiler users.
Innovation & Feature Enablement: Engaging with various stakeholders to enhance PDKs with new features and functionalities.
What You’ll Need :
To excel in this role, you should have:
A BS degree with 5+ years or an MS degree with 4+ years of relevant experience.
A strong understanding of the semiconductor design process and EDA tools.
Expertise in scripting languages such as Python, Tcl, and UNIX for automation and optimization.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills to troubleshoot PDK issues efficiently.
Experience managing complex projects from initiation to completion while implementing industry best practices.
